Not only are there complex and contentious issues of definition, orientation and scope to be addressed 【on their merits】, but there is still much political and advocacy work to be done in order to persuade those who may not yet be convinced of the need for a disability-specific convention and who may believe or suggest that the preferable way forward lies in drawing 。
