For the summer holidays, I'm going traveling around China with some of my schoolmates。
Our transportation means will be trains and buses, as we can not afford the expensive air-fare。
Good hotels don't mean much to us。 We are going to stay in cheap hostels as long as the rooms are air-conditioned and hot shower is provided。
We'll start our trip from Beijing and the first stop is Xi'an。 I just can't wait to see the Terra-cotta Warriors。
They are a very important evidece of our splendid history。 Then we take the train to Guilin in the south, which is said to be the most beautiful place in China。
The scenery along the Li River is the best of the area, so hiking along the river is in our plan, and I assume it would be the highlight of our trip。
After a week or more in Guilin, we will be traveling to Kunming, which is known as the Spring City, so the temprature there is supposed to be mild while it's hot in other places。
But we'll trasfer straight to Xishuang-banna by bus。 We are expecting to see some peacocks, elephants and a lot of interesting tropical plants in the wild。
Our trip will be ended back in Beijing just a few days before the second semester。
