pads2007在win7下安装的问题，跪求答案
请问此问题怎么解决，我在网上下了个PADS KEYGEN后，先装pads2007的license server，装完了后装PADS PRODUCT，之后就出现这个对话框，内容是：there are some product specific warnings for this installaion。
然后我点ok后选择第三种方式安装，没等几秒就弹出个
"star menu creation error"对话框,内容是：error creating start menu entry for mentor install。
我在百度上搜索，好像没几个人又我这样的问题啊。
。跪求解答啊
我的笔记本是:thinkpad sl410k

Hi,
do the followings if you are using win 7 (you may try it w/ other versions if see the same problem, see saxtmich's reply)
[1] right click on the setup
[2] select properties
[3] go to compatibility tab
[4] under "compatibility mode"
(a) select the check box "run this program in compatibility mode for" and select Windows XP
(b) If you can not edit the box, go below and click on "change settings for all users" and select as (a)
[5] save you settings
now you should be able to run the installation w/o seeing any error messages。
