The tuitions for private high schools are from $10,000 to $25,000 per year。 The prestigious private high schools have low faculty to student ratio and most teachers have Phd from world famous universitis like Harvard and Standford。
I would call it "study in style" borrowing from the phrase " travel in style"。 But these institutions are reserved for a few kids from the rich and famous family background or a few truly gifted youngsters who have excellent academic records。
These schools do offer financial aid by waiving partial or whole tuitions if you have special talents or have financial hardships。
As for a student visa, again if you are a gifted student with special talents or if you have a unique background like if you are the son of Wen Jia Bao, I can guarantee you that you won't have a problem getting a visa。
Good Luck! 。收起
